WHY: Do you know, that majority of people who own cast stone architectural elemenrts aren’t aware of the recommended maintenance to preserve the apperance of the beautifully crafted stone and to prevent deterioration. Cast stone, is just like any other stone or paver and should be treated carefully. Since cast stone is made from concrete, it should be sealed every time to protect it against mildew, the etching from the acid rain, UV damages and efflorescence.

cast stone elements can either be below grade or above grade, we primarily focus on above grade Cast Stone and use cutting edge chemical cleansers and commercial grade sealers on products such as columns, balustrades, pavers, cast stone veeeners, trims and moldings, planters, and fountains

There are different types of chemical solvents or solutions that are unique to each cast stone element. We ensure to use highest commercial grade sealant or water repellent coating to minimize the maximum amount of water intrusion to protect the outer surface of the cast stone, while allowing sufficient vapor transmission to let moisturee out yet have the ability to clean the surface if it becomes dirty. Cast stone is porous, so depending on density, we can calculate how many layers of sealer is required until the water remains on surface level. We encourage the application to be applied by a professional as it requires proper hand application technique to make sure it is evenly applies accross the entire surface
