Cast Stone International was chosen to work as the manufacturer and installer for a Mediterranean fireplace. The vision for the project was to create a warm atmosphere where family and guests would reunite. Private owners request was also to have a frame for a 60” TV so the formal room would serve as an entertainment space well. The fireplace was done in a special acid wash Italian sandstone buff finish
Cast Stone fireplace: Cast Stone International designed with 2 rope columns to serve as the support system for the mantel. As the request to use Mediterranean inspired designs was a big part of the project, the rope column worked really well with the decorative leaf design cast stone trim moldings around the firebox and T.V box. These designs worked really well in succession bringing the Mediterranean concept to life.
Stone Veneer & Fireplace Hearth: Cast Stone International used a stone cap design to be wide enough to have a seating area around the fireplace or to decorate with home décor. The Stone Veneer was used as a backsplash for the entire structure of the fireplace.
